SUSTAINABLE TRIPS
Beyond individual benefits, logging your trips on Way to Go! Missoula supports our community’s transportation and sustainability goals. The City aims for carbon neutrality by 2025 and a 34% reduction in drive-alone trips by 2045—tripling walking, biking, and transit use from 2016 levels. WTG!M helps track this progress and provides data for planners and engineers to identify where infrastructure improvements can best support sustainable travel.
EARNING MONTHLY REWARDS
Each month, local businesses team up with Missoula In Motion’s Way To Go! program to reward sustainable commuters. Log your trips to earn free drinks, treats, and discounts from Missoula's favorite, local businesses.
Each Way to Go! member is eligible to claim 1 reward per month, even if they earn enough points to claim more. Trips must be taken and logged in the current month in order to claim the reward. Once all rewards are claimed, the website will show that it is out of stock. Out of stock trip rewards do not get restocked. Log your trips early in the month and claim rewards early because vouchers go fast!
The City of Missoula has adopted ambitious mode split goals as a part of it's Long Range Transportation Plan including reducing the drive-alone rate to 34% and tripling bike, walk and transit trips all by 2045. You can help support our community's transportation goals. Every time you choose a sustainable mode you are part of the solution!
