Missoula In Motion (MIM) is a program of the Transportation Division of the City of Missoula's Development Services founded in 1997. MIM encourages the many sustainable transportation options available to individuals and workplaces through fiscally responsible strategies and best practice programs.
MISSION
Our mission at Missoula In Motion is to increase the use of sustainable transportation in and around Missoula.
VISION
Our vision for Missoula is a connected transportation network that is safe, accessible, affordable, and desirable for everyone and contributes to a cleaner environment, healthier individuals and a more vibrant place to live, work and play.

EVALUATION
Missoula In Motion undergoes periodic internal review to ensure programs and services are not only meeting the needs of Missoulians, but are deploying Transportation Options effectively. Missoula In Motion releases an annual report and presents to the Missoula City Council, partners and stakeholders regularly.

KATHERINE AUGE
TRANSPORTATION DEMAND MANAGEMENT PROGRAM MANAGER
Originally from Buffalo, NY Katherine arrived in Montana in 2010 after receiving her undergraduate degree from Boston College. She served with the National AmeriCorps program in Billings, MT for 1 year, and upon completion moved to Missoula which she has called home ever since. Katherine joined the Missoula In Motion team in 2016. Outside of the office, you can find Katherine experimenting in the kitchen, practicing yoga, and exploring all that Montana has to offer.

ALLI KANE
TRANSPORTATION DEMAND MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST
Alli moved to Missoula from a small New York beach town in 2019 to serve as an Energy Corps member on local climate and sustainability projects. She has a Masters in Climate Change from the University of Copenhagen where she focused on creating solutions that build resilience in communities. Although she misses the ocean, Alli loves getting out into the mountains all year round, riding her bike everywhere, and getting her hands dirty at the clay studio in town.

STACI SHEPARD
PROGRAM SPECIALIST
Staci moved to Missoula in 2010 after studying Graphic Design in her home state of Michigan. She is excited to be working with Missoula In Motion where she can use her graphic design skills to help motivate the community to consider more sustainable ways to get around. Along with her passion for art and design, Staci also enjoys painting, riding her fixed gear bike, and walking around town with her dog, Guapo.
