LOGGING YOUR

SUSTAINABLE TRIPS

Beyond the many benefits listed above, logging your trips on Way to Go! Missoula is critical to meeting our community wide transportation and sustainability goals. The City of Missoula has a goal of being carbon neutral by 2025 and reducing our drive-alone rate by 34% by 2045. This means 3x the number of walk, bus and bike trips of 2016. Way to Go! Missoula helps us track our progress towards meeting those goals.

Additionally, local planners and engineers use Way to Go! Missoula data to see where Missoulians are traveling and via what modes. With this information they can better understand where infrastructure can be improved to support sustainable types of traffic.

EARN
TRIP REWARDS

Every month, local businesses partner with Missoula In Motion's Way To Go! program to offer new Monthly Trip Challenge rewards to sustainable Missoula commuters. Earn free beverages, treats, and amazing discounts off of local products all over Missoula. It's simple and doesn't take long to do. Just be sure to log your sustainable commutes by the end of each current month to your monthly rewards.

(Reminder, the sooner you log your trips and claim your reward the better because some rewards go out of stock quickly.)

THIS MONTH'S

TRIP REWARDS

Every month, there is a new Monthly Trip Challenge and new rewards. These rewards are offered through a partnership between Missoula In Motion and local businesses. In order for there to be enough rewards to go around, each Way to Go! member is eligible to claim 1 reward per month, even if they take enough sustainable trips to earn enough points to claim more.

If you are not able to earn enough points to claim a reward during a certain month, any rewards that were not claimed "roll over" into the next month, providing another opportunity to try to earn the reward again. Keep in mind, however, that every Way to Go! member starts at zero points at the beginning of each month.

Disclaimer:

Trip reward quantities depend on partnerships with local businesses. Once all rewards are claimed, the website will show that it is out of stock. Out of stock trip rewards do not get restocked. Logging trips early in the month increases your chances of claiming a trip reward.
