For one week, we focus all our attention on getting around Missoula in the most healthy and fun way possible. It is about making a difference - in your own life - and in the community. The 28th annual Walk and Roll Missoula is a community-wide celebration, encouraging all Missoulians to travel by bicycle, bus and on foot. Bitterroot Trail Ride with Women Bike Missoula
September 16th, 5:30pm (meet @ 5:15)
Meet at the the beginning of the Bitterroot Trail (circle junction with the River/Milwaukee Trail just west of Hickory Street). This ride celebrates the Reserve Street Bike-Ped bridge and the bike-activated crossing at Johnson St. that completed the trail in 2017. Return trip will include Fort Missoula Park, options for dinner at The Trough, and choice of routes to the river trail junction.

This free course reviews basic bicycle maintenance skills, traffic and trail laws, urban design concepts, commuter safety and etiquette, and gives folks a tour of the community bike shop.
Tour of Westside Sidewalks
September 19th, 3PM meet at Lowell School
strategic partnership between the City, the MPO and the Invest Health team resulted in our community receiving a competitive Community Block Development Grant to build new sidewalk in a low income neighborhood.

A feature-length documentary about cargo bikes and the people that love them.
September 20th after Filmed by Bike screening
Ride leaves from The Roxy
Just as fun as it sounds. A short(5 mile) ride at a comfortable pace featuring music and frequent dance breaks!
September 21st, 4PM Meet at McCormick Park
Short comfortably paced ride for all levels. The ride will end at the Roxy just in time for the Motherload screening.
September 21st, Higgins Ave
Parklets transform on street parking spaces into temporary people-places in support of a friendly environment for people walking and biking. Look out for these pop-up parks outside of the Florence Building and Fact & Fiction Bookstore.
