Join the challenge from May 1-14 when you and your colleagues will team up against workplaces of similar sizes with the shared goal of inspiring everyone to make at least 1 sustainable commute during those two weeks.
With so many sustainable transportation options in Missoula, the path is yours to choose. You're the star of the story and there are quests to complete, mysteries to explore, treasure maps to follow, and legendary journeys ahead. You never know what adventures you might have along the way!
Walk, bike, bus, carpool, vanpool, or telecommute to work and win a bounty of epic proportions! Put your bike on the bus for an extended commute and share a carpool with a coworker to win a prize for being a Mode Explorer. Did your team get creative with an internal game? There’s a prize for that too. Most of all we hope you have fun competing and encouraging each other to see commuting differently.
Adventure awaits.

HOW TO
PARTICIPATE
Your workplace participates by using the online or app Way to Go! Missoula platform. Each coworker will create an account in Way to Go! Missoula and will connect to your team's workplace network. Your Commuter Challenge Captain will be able to see who has logged trips and will be able to run reports and internal raffles or challenges!

FREQUENTLY
ASKED QUESTIONS
What is a commute?
The Commuter Challenge focuses specifically on your daily travel to and from your workplace. While we strongly encourage using sustainable travel modes throughout the day to run errands , grab lunch, etc. these additional trips will NOT be counted in this particular challenge. These trips should be logged as "errands" on Way to Go! Missoula.
What is a sustainable commute?
Any mode other than driving alone (walk, bike, bus, carpool, vanpool, telecommute, skateboard, rollerblade, etc.)
What are the requirements for businesses to participate?
The Commuter Challenge welcomes ALL businesses/non profits affecting the Missoula airshed. Whether you have a team of 5, 50 or 500 employees at your workplace, your participation will make a difference. The only requirement is that every team has a Commuter Challenge Team Captain that serves as the point of contact between your workplace and Missoula In Motion.
