This fall, Enjoy the Journey, with Bike Walk Bus Week!

  For one week, we focus all our attention on getting around Missoula in the most healthy and fun way possible. Celebrate healthy transportation with us and give it a try. Bike Walk Bus Week is about making a difference - in your own life  - and in the quality of our community.

Activities begin NEXT WEEK:  Saturday, September 27th- Saturday, October 4th of 2014.  Check out the weekly schedule well as a listing of daily activities and sponsors.

Mountain Line: RIDE FREE ALL WEEK  Mountain Line buses will operate ZERO FARE on all routes during BWBW. No bus service Sunday. Wi Fi is available on the bus! “Give transit a try – on us.” Mountain Line 721–3333.
The University of Montana’s 15th Annual WALK and ROLL WEEK   Mon–Fri, 7:30am–1:30pm. Head to the university any way other than driving alone and you will receive a free raffle ticket. Volunteers will hand out raffle tickets at UM entrances and bus stops all week. More than 100 raffle prizes include a bike, lights, helmets, mirrors, gift certificates for meals, more. Parks and Recreation: Blue Bike Special.  Grab a FREE Dasani Blue Bike at Current Aquatic Center and enjoy cruising down the trail and around town all day. ID and credit card required. 600 Cregg Ln. Meg 552-6271.
Missoula Ravalli Transportation Management Association: Treats for Vanpoolers. Vanpool all week and be surprised one afternoon with treats of appreciation to those utilizing the iRide Vanpools. Lynn 327–8515.  
Montana Natural History Center: BWBW. Free admission if you bike, walk, or bus. 120 Hickory St. Christine 327–0405. 
Historical Museum: Free Admission. Free admission for anyone who walks, bikes, rolls, or rides the bus to the Historical Museum at Fort Missoula. Enjoy the exhibit “Growing the Garden City: Missoula’s First 150 Years.” Building 322, Fort Missoula. Carolyn 728–3476.
Jeannette Rankin Peace Center: Way to Go for Peace. All visitors that bike, walk, or ride the bus get a free button or a piece of chocolate. 519 S. Higgins Ave. Betsy 543–3955. 
SpectrUM Discovery Area: Step Up for Science. $1.00 off admission for anyone who bikes, walks, or buses during the week. Members will receive a free SpectrUM pencil for each member of their party for doing so. 218 E. Front St. Nick 728-7836.
Missoula Public Library: Walk and Read. Use your library card to check out a free downloadable audiobook ( Put it on your MP3 player and commute to work. Walking and reading at its finest. 301 E. Main St. Mary 258–3848.
A Carousel for Missoula: Ride for a Ride. Anyone who bikes, walks, or buses during BWBW gets a free ride. Limit one ride per day. 101 Carousel Drive, Caras Park. Theresa 549–8382.
Children’s Museum. Tues-Fri, 10am–5pm. Buy one full price admission, get one free, IF you bike, walk, or take the bus. 225 W Front St. Heidi 541–7529.
Missoula Urban Demonstration Project (MUD): Workshop Discount. Bike, walk, or bus to MUD and receive 50% off a workshop. Members and nonmembers are eligible for the discount.1527 Wyoming St. Bill 721–7513.
Adventure Cycling: Complimentary 6 Month Membership. Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm. Complimentary 6 month membership - stop by to find out more about bicycle travel from America’s bicycle travel experts. Current members can pick up a keychain bottle opener. 150 E. Pine St. Teri 532-2765.
Elements Board Shop: Bike Walk or Board. Anyone who bikes, walks, buses, or boards to the shop gets 10% off any regular price item all week. 225 N. Higgins Ave. Tony 493-2115.
Frame of Mind: 9am-7pm. FREE delivery on any custom/DIY framing project for projects purchased during the week when you bike, walk or bus into the store…PLUS 15% off any bike art or gifts all week. 1706 Brooks. Amy 549-8589 
Go Fetch!: BWBW for your Dog! Every dog owner who bikes, walks, or rides the bus to either location (N. Reserve, Russell Square) will receive a free 50¢ dog biscuit. Richard 728–2275x3
Loose Caboose: BWBW Drink Off. $1.00 off any drink if you walk, bike, or ride the bus to any of the five locations (3510 S. Reserve, 2310 Brooks, 3075 N. Reserve, 6149 Mullan Rd, or 2420 W. Broadway). Stephanie 360–6232.

The Women’s Club: BWBW Benefits @ The Women’s Club: Staff and members who bike, walk, or bus to the Women’s Club during BWBW will be entered in a drawing for great TWC prizes! Free one-day passes available to women who visit the club during BWBW. 2104 Bow St. Laura 728-4410.
